An International Air Travel Agency warns that airfares seems to reduce on the resumption of flights, but fares may rise by up to 50%.

The International Transport Association says that airlines want to resume flights as soon as possible.

Due to the low number of passengers because of current corona virus situation, the cost of flights can be a burden on companies.

But there may be a huge and clear increase in fares if there is an emphasis on vacating seats among passengers in flights.

Under the current Social Distance rules, airlines may be asked to vacate some seats in flights and this will affect their profits and hence airfares rise.
