The head of the World Health Organization, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, says his organization quickly alerted the world to the dangers of COVID 19.

“Now that I look back, I think we put the emergency on time and the world had a lot of time to react,” he said.

He added that the World Health Organization issued the warning at a time when there were only 82 victims and no deaths.

“It simply came to our notice then. It’s January 30, and it’s about two months and 21 days from today, about three months. “

Dr. Tedros has been criticized for dealing with COVID-19 and his organisation’s response, while most U.S. lawmakers have called for his resignation. However, most governments have praised the agency’s efforts and said work was needed on the occasion.

When asked about his resignation, Dr. Tedros said he would work “day and night” to save lives.
