Imran Khan: Looking at the situation there, I worry more about India than Pakistan
Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan has said that India is dominated by hate thoughts and seeing the situation there, I worry more about India than Pakistan.
He said that India now dominates the ideology that killed Gandhi and which was banned in India for a long time and now that ideology is dominated there.
Addressing a joint session with the Secretary-General of the Commonwealth Secretary General at the think tank ‘Council for Foreign Relations’ in the United States on Monday, Imran Khan answered questions on various topics.
Talking about Afghanistan, he said that the impression that the United States was not successful in Afghanistan was because of Pakistan. He said that it was painful for Pakistan that Afghanistan kept on signing the peace agreement.
Talking about the Afghan peace process, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Afghan citizens have been in trouble for the last 40 years and that they told the Democrats during a visit to the United States in 2008 that war was not the solution to the Afghan problem.
“In my meeting with President Trump, I will tell him that the problem of Afghanistan cannot be solved by war. I will try to convince them that talks with the Afghan Taliban should not be canceled. ”

Talking about the warring factions in Afghanistan, he said, “These mujahedin were turned against the Soviet Union and when the Soviet Union left Afghanistan in 1989, the United States left Pakistan with these groups.”
Imran Khan said that when the 9/11 attacks and the US stepped into Afghanistan, Pakistan was asked to go against groups that were trained to fight against foreign forces.
“After September 11, being part of the war on terror was our biggest mistake. 70,000 Pakistanis have lost their lives in this, while economists have lost $ 150 to 200 billion.
He said: “The Soviet army killed more than one million civilians in Afghanistan, and now about 2.7 million Afghan refugees are becoming refugees.”
The Prime Minister had said that if the United States had not been successful in 19 years in Afghanistan, 19 more years would not have been successful, and President Trump should have consulted with Pakistan before the cancellation of talks with the Taliban.
Imran Khan was questioned whether Osama bin Laden had been investigated in connection with the residence and death of some away from Pakistan’s capital. He said he did not know the result of the investigation.

India and Kashmir
The Prime Minister said that whenever international arbitration is talked about on the Kashmir issue, it is regarded by India as a bilateral issue but after that India refuses to negotiate with Pakistan.
He said that the election campaign in India was aroused by anti-Pakistan sentiments.
He said that the Indian government has imposed curfew and banned 8 million Kashmiris. He called on the international community to pressure India to end the curfew.
The Prime Minister said that India is trying to add Pakistan to the blacklist of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), while also saying that “Pakistan will work on any terrorist group on its soil. Will not let you do it. ‘
Responding to a question about India, Imran Khan said, “I am one of the Pakistanis who has loved India so much and because of India’s situation, I worry more about India than Pakistan.”
Relations with China
Regarding relations with China, Imran Khan said that China has helped Pakistan to avoid bankruptcy but he also said that China has never interfered with our foreign policy.
He said that China helped Pakistan at a time when the situation in our country was very bad. Asked about the treatment of Muslims in China, he said that many issues with China are settled at the ‘private’ level and they will not talk about them in public.
